Chad Johnson, PhD, HCLD

Dr. Johnson is currently the IVF Laboratory Director for PREG Fertility. For nineteen years, he was the Director of Laboratories for ACRM, and he has had an active involvement in clinical IVF for thirty years following doctoral work at Clemson University. Under Dr. Robert A. Godke, Dr. Johnson received his Master’s Degree in Reproductive Physiology and a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Delaware.

Several accomplishments follow Dr. Johnson. These include serving on the nominating committee and program committee for the RBPIG, serving as faculty on several ASRM Postgraduate courses, and taking part of the Planning Committee for the AATB.

Along with his current collaborations, Dr. Johnson facilitated the building and directing of several IVF laboratories around the country. He was an off-site director for ECU Women's Physicians for over twenty years.

Working in collaboration with the Cincinnati Zoo, Dr. Johnson assisted in the birth of the first domestic kittens using both SUZI and ICSI. He also served on a team of scientists at the Cincinnati Zoo responsible for the birth of the first IVF gorilla baby

Dr. Johnson is married with four children. He enjoys several sports and family trips to the mountains and the beach.
