Gail Whitman-Elia, MD

Reproductive Endocrinologist

Dr. Whitman began her journey into the medical world at the University of Chicago. She obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Science with a Concentration in Biochemistry. After obtaining her doctorate degree from University of Chicago, she pursued her Masters degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Administration.

She has furthered her career by becoming a director, a science research professor/clinical professor, adjunct Professor, and a clinical instructor. Among these, she has achieved several honors including CREOG National Faculty Award for Excellence, Teaching Advancement Award from the University of South Carolina, and the Physician of the Year Finalist

Her professional organizations include the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, and the Society for the Study of Reproduction, to name a few. Dr. Whitman is currently working alongside the Piedmont Reproductive Endocrinology Group (PREG) as a reproductive specialist.
