A Brand New Name
When I was 37 I decided to have my eggs
frozen. It was beginning to concern me that I was getting older but didn't
have a prospect for a husband. The doctors were able to retrieve 12 eggs. So
I began to feel relieved that I had my back-up plan in place for when I
finally met my husband. So a year later I'm now 38 1/2 and still no husband.
I decide I'm ready to take on the journey of motherhood by myself. Waiting on
a husband was becoming more and more time sensitive as I was quickly reaching
the big 4-0. Deciding that I needed to act now, in order to carry a healthy
baby full term I began the journey.
What A Wonderful World
Good morning! Normally my wife is the one posting here but this morning I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. You guys have been absolutely wonderful to us. You have become family to us. There are no words to describe how thankful I am that we came to your office.
No Perfect Words to Express Our Gratitude
I've had a few weeks to think of the perfect words to say and yet every time I feel as if I fall short in finding the right ones to say thank you. The journey of infertility is never an easy one, and yet you all have created a safe home for us, one that is bittersweet to leave.
My husband and I have been married for almost 7 years. We had our first miscarriage a year after we were married. We went through three more years of disappointments. In summer of 2007 I found a medical group in Charlotte that specialized in fertility issues.
We just wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for all you have done for us. There really are no words. Thank you for always being there for us no matter what and for always going above and beyond the call of duty.
The Most Precious Gift We Could Ever Receive
Thank you all so much for giving us hope and for the most precious gift we could ever receive! You all will always be in our lives, our hearts and our prayers. We are so grateful that we chose to step through the doors at PREG.
A Special Note of Thanks
My husband and I would like to thank you and everyone in your office for the wonderful attitudes and professionalism. I have never been to an office that was so accommodating to every need.
Dreams Do Come True
We can't thank you enough for helping us conceive our child. We are so excited to tell you that we are having a girl. I am 17 weeks and 3 days and the ultrasound shows that everything is absolutely perfect.
You Have Been So Kind
Thank you for all of the excellent care you have given me during the last few months. You have been courteous and extremely responsive to my needs. You were always cheerful and upbeat even when I wasn't.
You Have Changed Our Lives
This is just a small note to let you know how much I appreciate everything you and your staff have done for me. Everyone has been friendly, kind, and supportive to me. You can't imagine how much that means when a woman is going through this process.
The Most Amazing Joy
I am writing this letter along with enclosing a copy of the announcement of the birth of our precious daughter. When my husband and I found out we were pregnant in December, I knew then words could not express our joy and gratitude to you and your staff at PREG. Now after spending the last five weeks with our daughter I knew I had to try and put this gratitude into words.
Thank you seems inadequate at best. I will never be able to truly express how thankful I am that you NEVER gave up trying to make my dream a reality. It's not just the fact you never gave up, but the compassion you showed me, at a time I needed it most.
I completely loved being a nurse, and I enjoy my work as a physician, too. Still, none of my professional experience prepared me for our fertility struggle. I chose to adopt denial, and I conveniently forget everything I ever knew about premature ovarian failure.
A Loving Family
John Nichols is certainly a genius in his field. He has been blessed with a gift...a gift that has also blessed my husband, John, and I with 2 beautiful and healthy children. Anna is almost 4 and Jake is now 6 ½ months old. But I would like to take a moment to introduce you to John Nichols...not just the Doctor - but the man.
