What Are My Options?

If you suspect you have a problem with infertility, you have many options to consider. This is not a hopeless road. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure you achieve the result you want and will recommend infertility treatments after an analysis of you and your partner's medical history, physical findings, infertility testing, evaluation and prior infertility treatments.

Dr. Nichols and Dr. Payne specialize in advanced infertility treatments including In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intrauterine Inseminations (IUI), Simply IVF, and Donor Inseminations, as well as robotic, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical procedures with operating privileges at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Eastside Medical Center, St. Francis Women's Hospital and Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Village at Pelham, Ambulatory Surgery Center of Spartanburg, Mary Black Memorial Hospital, and Mission Hospital (Memorial and St. Joseph Campuses) in Asheville.

In addition to state-of-the-art infertility treatments, Piedmont Reproductive Endocrinology Group offers a range of complementary services and procedures. Our facilities are equipped for on-site Hysterosalpingography (HSG) for your convenience. We also have two surgery centers that have been accredited by AAAASF to perform affordable out-patient Microsurgical tubal reversal, MESA, PESA, Hysteroscopies & early D&C procedures in our private surgical suite.

Our offices offer an on-site Andrology lab for semen analysis and Intrauterine Inseminations (for both husband/partner and donor sperm). We also have Tosoh serum chemistry analyzers for doing same-day hCG (pregnancy tests), progesterone, and estradiol levels as well as other endocrine testing.

For women who may not be able to conceive a child using their own oocytes (eggs), we have a compensated egg donor program available through our office, embryo adoption program and a gestational surrogate program. Our experienced staff can help potential egg donation recipients explore this option.

The physicians and staff at our infertility centers can also provide both evaluation and treatment of various pubertal disorders, menopause, and other complicated gynecological problems. These additional services and evaluations allow our patients to receive comprehensive care for a range of needs.
