About Our Logo

We have chosen the Lotus Flower as our logo for PREG. It is considered the “fertility flower” as well as the essence of feminine principle. Lotuses are also seen as symbols of purity and “spontaneous generation” symbolizing divine birth and are known as the “womb” or “embryo” of the world. The Lotus flower usually grows in muddy, swampy waters and blooms to reveal a beautiful flower. According to some philosophies, “the spirit of the best of man (and woman) is spotless, like the pure new lotus blooming in the muddy water which does not adhere to it.”
The Lotus blooming in the muddy water represents new birth, growth and development from the often difficult, confusing and clouded environment of infertility and our commitment to help bring forth beautiful, pure new life into the world. The Lotus flower also represents our office’s continuing growth and evolution into a much more personal and private practice model from our prior affiliation.
